General Terms and Conditions
By making a reservation at the B&B Slapen onder de sterren, these General Terms and Conditions come into effect. These apply to all guests of B&B Slapen onder de sterren.
Definitions:
Owners: Jan Weidema & Sandra Winkel, the owners can appoint a substitute
Substitute: person in charge of all affaires of the B&B by absence of the owners
Guest: principal guest and accompanying guests
General
1. Guests must be of legal age (18+) and have a permanent place of residence and must register at the start with the owners of B&B Slapen onder de sterren with a valid ID. No photocopy will be made of this ID. The principal guest is responsible for his/her accompanying guests.
2. The rates for an overnight stay in B&B Slapen onder de sterren can be found on the website www.slapenonderdesterren.com. The rates include VAT and other taxes.
3. B&B Slapen onder de sterren is due to the steep stairs not suitable for very small children and guests with reduced mobility.
4. B&B Slapen onder de sterren is suitable for a maximum of two persons per room. Older children and babies are welcome. A baby bed is available, but no separate children’s bed. The maximum number of guests per party is four, two per room (five in consultation if this is a baby), more is not allowed.
5. The owners are not liable for damage, loss or theft of guests’ property. In case of disputes, all (legal) costs are for the account of the guests. All risks related to the stay in the B&B are at the expense of the guests and the owners cannot be held liable for personal injury resulting from a stay in the B&B.
6. Damage and loss of immovable and movable property in and around the B&B must be reported immediately by the guests and be reimbursed to the owners.
7. The owners cannot be held responsible in case of disturbances for instance of the electrical system, Wi-Fi loss or other unforeseeable disturbances.
8. In case of violation of the General Terms and Conditions and in case of inappropriate behaviour, the owners can deny and / or refuse the guests access to B&B Slapen onder de sterren with immediate effect, without further notice and stating reasons and without refund of the accommodation costs.
9. The guests must behave properly and adhere to the house rules that can be found on the website www.slapenonderdesterren.com.
Reservations, confirmation and payment
1. Reservations of the B&B can be made by telephone, email or the reservation system on the website.
2. After receiving a reservation, the owners will send a confirmation of booking (in case the B&B is available).
3. The reservation is only final after paying of the full costs due, unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellation
1. In case of cancellation the following terms apply:
– Cancellation up to three days before check-in time is free of charge. The full costs paid will be reimbursed.
– Cancellation up to two days or less before check-in time, 50% of the costs will be reimbursed.
2. In case of cancellation, the guests will inform the owners as soon as possible by telephone or email in order to apply for reimbursement.
3. The reimbursement will be paid within a week after cancellation.
4. No refund will be given in case of early departure.
5. In case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, the owners have the right to cancel the reservation at any time. In such a case, the owners – if desired by the guests – will help to find an alternative accommodation
6. If no suitable alternative accommodation can be offered, the full amount paid will be reimbursed. Other costs cannot be refunded.
7. We advise to our guests to take out travel insurance.
Aankomst en vertrek
1. Op de dag van aankomst is de kamer vanaf 14.00 uur beschikbaar en kan tot 23.00 uur worden ingecheckt.
2. Graag horen wij hoe laat je denkt aan te komen.
3. Je ontvangt een unieke toegangscode om de B&B zelfstandig binnen te kunnen gaan.
4. Je wordt verzocht om uiterlijk 10.30 uur uit te checken.
Deze algemene voorwaarden zijn op datum gedeponeerd bij de Kamer van Koophandel onder nummer: nummer. De laatst gedeponeerde versie is van toepassing.
